Certification Commission

The purpose of auditors’ certification is to examine the professional capacity and practical experience of persons applying for audit professional practice.

The Qualification Examination is organised by the Ministry of Finance and carried out by the Certification Commission of the Ministry of Finance.

The members of the Commission are highly qualified specialists from the Ministry of Finance and other central public administration specialised bodies and relevant academia representatives.

The documents required for admission to the qualification exam are the following:

  • The application for admission to the qualification examination;
  • The examination application;
  • The Curriculum Vitae;
  • Two photos of 3 × 4 cm size;
  • The criminal record;
  • The diploma of the corresponding higher education, confirmed by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova, in case of studies abroad;
  • The employment record confirming employment and appropriate work experience in the Republic of Moldova or the document (apostilled / legalised, translated into the state language and legalised according to the legislation in force), which confirms the working age of at least 3 years an economic-financial or legal field accumulated outside the Republic of Moldova;
  • The written recommendation of the executive body of the audit firm, the individual entrepreneur auditor, where he was employed during the probationary period;
  • The identity card or residence permit (as the case may be) issued by the competent bodies of the Republic of Moldova;
  • The international qualification certificate in the field of accounting and audit with the transcript, apostilled / legalised, translated into the state language and legalised according to the legislation in force (as the case may be);
  • Confirmation of the international qualification certificate in the field of accounting and audit by the issuing body, translated into the state language and legalised according to the legislation in force (as the case may be).

Copies of the original documents shall also be included in the application file.
