The 7th call for grants is now open for producer groups under the "Agriculture Competitiveness" Project financed by the World Bank

During 20th December 2018 - 31st January 2019 in the framework of "Moldova Agriculture Competitiveness" Project financed by the World Bank,  producers groups operating  in the  horticultural sector or zootechnics (collection and / or processing of honey and milk collection and / or processing) will be able to apply for a grant of up to USD 350,000 for procurement of post-harvest machinery and technological equipment.

To qualify for a grant, producers groups must consist of at least 5 individual members with at least 3 years of activity in the horticultural sector  or 1 year in the livestock sector and to provide co-financing of at least 50% of the eligible costs. Both newly formed and groups funded within the previous calls, who want to complement their funding up to a cumulative ceiling of USD 350,000 per group to expand their business, are invited to participate.

The application dossier should be submited to the territorial offices of the Agency of Interventions and Payments in Agriculture. Details about eligibility criteria and the required documents are available at www.aipa.gov.md or www.capmu.md.

The Grant Program "FACILITATION OF ACCESS TO EXPORT MARKETS" under the framework of MAC-P, is at the seventh round of implementation. Since 2014 when the program was launched up till now, 34 producers groups have been funded, comprising 195 agricultural producers. The total amount of disbursed grant resources is USD 9,2 mln. , and the co-financing provided by producers groups represents approximately USD 12 million.
